The following blog has been written by Market Dojo’s Customer Support Specialist, Chris Barrett. Chris reflects on the past 9 months that he has been with the business and gives a break down of what has been achieved by the business within that time.

A garlic takes 9 months to grow. 

It takes a woman 9 months to make a baby. 

A pineapple plant takes 9 months to grow. 

An avocado also takes 9 months to grow.

But how much has Market Dojo grown in 9 months?

I have now been the Customer Support Specialist here at Market Dojo for 9 months now and have seen us grow massively over this period of time. See below some of the major changes that have happened during my time so far:

Contract Dojo

Contract Dojo is a new module/tool/product which Market Dojo released in June 2019. This is a Contract Management tool that offers users the ability to store, manage and archive all contracts and documents in a secure repository.

Help Dojo

This is a new interactive help tool which can help any user of our tool 24/7. Some key features on Help Dojo are:

  • Interactive Walkthroughs
  • Page Tours
  • FAQs
  • Marketing materials
  • Downloadable templates

I have had a lot of focus on the success of this during my time here at Market Dojo as this has a huge impact with support. I feel as we are now going global it is important to offer support to anyone anywhere. So far this year we have had around 4,000 plays on our Walk-Throughs within the Help Dojo portal by 2,800 different users.

Website security 

We have made massive strides to improve our security on our website. We now use 2 Factor Authorisation option when logging in to our system (which we all use here at Market Dojo). We have also improved password credentials to include the following:

  • Contain at least 10 characters
  • Contain at least 1 upper and lower case letter
  • Contain at least 1 number 
  • Contain at least 1 special character

When released I noticed within support that it wasn’t the clearest of what credentials were needed for new passwords so I worked with our developers to make this clearer and shortly after introduced the following:

This has massively reduced support tickets coming through and a much easier for our users to create a new password.

Market Dojo!

When I joined the company I was the 12th employee here. Since then we have recruited a further 9 and another starting next week! Also since I have joined the office has expanded to double the size with the recruitment. The number of new clients we now have at this time is also an achievement and am excited to see how the company continues to grow.
