As we enter June and find ourselves firmly within the British Summer period, our MD Development team would love to report that they have been working hard, creating a plan to bring us nothing but sunshine until November. However, they have been far too busy making this months software updates a reality. Here’s what they’ve been up to:
Market Dojo User Experience Improvements
This month several enhancements have been added to our flagship eSourcing tool, to provide a slicker journey from setup to result.
This has included multiple adjustments to the messaging within the product. The most recent conversations are now shown at the top, to ensure nothing is being missed by your users.
Filtering is available based upon participant, making it easier than ever to find the information you need.
And you can now quickly reopen events if a message needs to be sent; when attempting to message from a closed event, a prompt will be seen that will allow the event to be reopened.
When reviewing questionnaire responses, the screen has been re-configured to allow as much space as possible for the answer.
And finally, a new setting has been included at company level to determine how long completed events will remain open.
SIM User Experience Improvements
We’ve continued our work on the SIM on-boarding user experience; making a number of changes across the system to help day-to-day.
To make it clearer where your participants stand, a new area has been added to the actions tab, showing those with expired documents. Combined with more accurate auditing within the decision history; why a participant requires re-approving is more obvious than ever.
Additionally, hosts can now view how a participant is progressing with a particular questionnaire. For each participant, by clicking on to a questionnaire ‘in progress’, a percentage bar will be shown representing the completed questions thus far.
In the event that a participant has not been able to view questions based upon answer criteria, these will also now be hidden from the scorers and approvers on the host side to reduce confusion.
In Quick Quotes, it is now clear where a participant has been rejected within the on-boarding system. A flag will show next to the participant email when searching and an indicator in the list view after invitations are sent out.
When a new user, either a host or participant, is setting up their Market Dojo account for the first time; they will now see guidance on the password requirements.
New fields have been made available as a part of our PowerBI integration, meaning users can build more detailed reports around their procurement process.
We’ve continued to provide guidance within Help Dojo; putting answers to more frequently asked questions at your fingertips.
We have continued to work on expanding our language capabilities, with simplified Chinese now available, and more languages in the works.
