Request for Quotation (RFQ) capability

If you know an auction is right for your commodity, set up an event which allows you firstly to obtain qualification bids to give you an understanding of the market before proceeding to an auction. Thus giving you a highly efficient method of running both forward and reverse auctions which can either be ranked or open.
4 ways of adding your participants
Further to the standard method of inviting a participant to an event by typing in their e-mail address, you can also upload a spreadsheet of your desired participants in one fell swoop or add from your centralised database or add via your groups. Our software sends you alerts once each participant accepts your invite so that you can easily keep track of progress.
event cloning
Once you’ve run a successful event and wish to run another with a similar make-up, you can clone an event for immediate use. Have the options to clone the Settings, the Lots, the Documents and/or the Participants. Repeatability is a doddle with this.
New – Japanese Auctions
The Host states an opening price and participants have to accept that price level or withdraw from the auction. Acceptance indicates that the participant is prepared to supply at the stated price. When all participants reply to a certain price, the software lowers the price level by a pre-determined amount and again asks participants to accept or decline at that level. This kind of auction continues until there are no more suppliers bidding. Please see here for more details
real-time bid analysis
With just a handful of simple perspectives, you can rapidly carry out bid analysis by Lot, by Participant or by overall cherry-picking of bids. This ensures you can gauge your event’s success in real-time without the need for exporting the data, which you can also do by the way!
data export
When all is over and your event has been a success, all our results are exportable and with a little help from us we can output them in a format of your choosing. This lets you analyse the results off-line or plug the results into your report or back into your ERP system.
